I already had a predisposition. I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). It causes insulin resistance.

In 2016, I found out it had finally turned into full-blown type 2. It has been a journey. One I'm still trying to control. Eating has been my biggest issue. Plus the trying to lose weight with PCOS seems almost impossible.

I'm hoping that I can gain control before it controls me.
