Question opinion of Ozempic vs Trulicity
Hi
So I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on which was better Ozempic or Trulicity. I had been on Trulicity but then 1 Dr me off now another Dr is talking about starting me on meds again. I am thinking of asking about Ozempic but don’t know a whole lot about it Any thoughts

there is a shortage of Ozempic so that is why the change. Trulicity is a good product for preventing decline of of kidney malfunction. As recommended before, consult with your provider about which product is better for you. Another thing to consider is to see which product is on your insurance carrier formulary. These products are pricey, so check with your insurance carrier. Even if they are on formulary it may be a higher copay.
It is a good practice if you are starting a new medication, see if your provider has samples. That way you will see if any adverse effects occur or if it works for you. Hope this helps. Trinette Stanford (community moderator)
