Diarrhea on mounjaro
Anyone else have issues with diarrhea two days after taking the shot? And how long does it usually last for you? I'm on 7.5 for nearly a year and still experiencing diarrhea lasting 2 to 3 days. This month I switched from shots in thigh or belly to my arm. Took my shot on Friday night--- today is Wednesday and still diarrhea persists. Thinking about quitting ,but my sugar is so much better I'm afraid to. Went from 12.8 to 6.4. A1C. No much weight lost...maybe 23 lbs in all that time. Would like to hear from others.
According to the Diabetes UK organization, diarrhea can be a side effect of Mounjaro. If you haven't already, you may wish to talk to your doctor about ways to control the diarrhea while on Mounjaro or perhaps, even, another treatment. A year is a long time to live with diarrhea.
