The principles I've learned to manage type 2 diabetes

I have been learning to take a more positive approach to my type 2 diabetes journey since my most recent mental drawback. While talking and listening to other "seasoned" people with diabetes, I received pointers that helped me cope with my bad days.

Through my journey, I have grasped the importance of staying engaged and being proactive with my diabetes management activities. Ultimately, I hope to gain more knowledge and principles to care for my mind and body. I will share some of the principles I have found effective in managing my type 2 diabetes.

Treat them like you are an NFL owner creating a Superbowl contender squad. In other words, make sure they have your best interests at heart to succeed with your diabetes management.

Whether it's a traditional medicine or a more natural holistic approach, remember, you control your diabetes playbook!

Switch it up and focus on improvement

Focus on consistent improvement to grow a better you. I know that sounds cliche, but find what works for you. I have stated this before, and I stand behind it.

Try various ways to eat, exercise, and stay active with a new hobby. Switch up the routine sometimes. We tend to fall into the monotonous cycle of our diabetic journey. It is essential to living life.

Celebrate the wins, big or small. Diabetes can be frustrating and annoying, but it doesn't have to hinder living a fulfilled life. Diabetes doesn't always have to be a hurdle.
