Going Against Doctors Orders

I had to make a decision on what mediation to stay on.

I was on Jardiance for T2D. I got a bad psoriasis flare and started a new biologic. Within a few weeks I got 3 infections, back-to-back. They told me my medications were fighting each other.

My PCP said I needed to stay on my diabetes medication. I felt that I was in more danger if I discontinue the biologic for PsO. You see, I was 80% covered in flakes and miserable. I felt that my psoriasis put me at more danger than my sugar being high.
