While we can’t give medical advice over the internet for your own safety, this sounds like it may be neuropathy, damage to nerves that can lead to numbness, tingling, sensitivity, and weakness. We encourage you to speak to your doctor if you have not already about any new symptoms like this! Learn more about neuropathy here: https://type2diabetes.com/complications/neuropathy/

Numbness and tingling may be a sign of Neuropathy. Anytime you have any new, changing or concerning symptoms, speak with your doctor right away. Tight blood sugar control and regular physical activity are thought to help minimize neuropathy.
