What are some tips for sleeping better at night?

Some community members have mentioned having trouble sleeping at night - what are your tips for getting a better night's sleep?

  1. Sleeping well at night is important, especially for those with type 2 diabetes. Sleep can have a great impact on health (https://type2diabetes.com/video/why-is-sleep-important ).

It's also important to keep your doctor/healthcare team informed, as you may be experiencing a sleep disorder. More info and tips are available here as well: https://type2diabetes.com/complications/sleep-disorders

    1. Good one. I've been using a CPAP for a little over a year now. You don't really notice the pressure in coming out of the hose to the mask when wearing it until you take it off then hear and feel the air coming out of it with a force. WOW. Wife don't notice it though. I'm still sleeping in other room from where she moved me to before seeing the sleep apnea doctor. 😉

        1. To ensure a better night's sleep, I invest in high quality pillows and bedding.
