Numbers dropped since being on low carb diet

I recently went on a low carb diet. Basically nothing white..80% veggies and 20% protein. Now I'm wondering about what to do with my insulin. Yesterday, my numbers stayed 132 to 134 all day long with no insulin. So, when I went to bed I didn't take anything the entire day. Can one control the numbers with diet alone?

  1. Thanks for sharing and reaching out. It's important to speak with your doctor as it sounds like you may need an adjustment to your insulin. It's great that you are checking often and adjusting your dose accordingly. Diet very much impacts glucose numbers. You want to be cautious as you change your diet, to avoid low blood sugars as well.
