Does eating before bed or night time snacking cause numbness to increase?

Does eating before bed or night time snacking cause numbness to increase? If anyone has experienced, feel free to share your experiences.

  1. Hi - always recommend checking in with your doctor/care team for more individualized advice and responses - and as we cannot offer medical advice.

Nighttime snacking can sometimes help manage morning blood sugars (which may be high due to the dawn phenomenon) - https://type2diabetes.com/nutrition/nighttime-snack-blood-sugar-must/ but also depends on what and how much you might be eating.

That might affect blood sugar levels which can affect numbness (https://type2diabetes.com/symptoms/numbness-tingling/) Will let you know if I see others discussing this in the community as well!

    Best,
