I'd encourage you to be a bit adventurous and creative in adapting some recipes. Try to alter some of the seasoning to use less salt. You can add flavor with garlic powder, fresh or dried herbs, etc. That's the beauty of preparing your own meals is you can customize them to meet your needs. If you're making soup, try using low sodium broth.
