Cortisone injection - sugar spike

Hi . Steroids can certainly make your blood sugar levels spike, usually for up to five days. That is something your doctor really should have addressed with you before giving you the injection so that you would know what to do and when to call the doctor who monitors your diabetes. If your levels are still high, you might want to call your doctor to see whether you can get some extra meds to bring it down.
