Are You Planning To Travel This Holiday Season?

I loved traveling and one of the things I have learned along the way, if it can happen it will.

Make sure to keep your medication with you. I don't know about you, but my bags had been misplaced for a few hours before. I always carry documentation from my doctor along with a prescription.

I know for me that I made sure I had all my shots; too many to name. I am 65 now and the list seems to be growing every year. It reminds me of being a child and taking so many vaccination shots back in the day.

In the last few months, I got the flu shot, RSV, COVID shot, pneumonia, my 2nd shingles shot. I think that's it.

Make sure to drink lots of water and get plenty of sleep. Is there something you do to prepare for travel? We would love to hear from you.

If you are traveling this holiday season, it there anything that you prepare for, especially if you are going to be around crowds? We would love to hear from you.

  1. No I don’t travel, because of Covid, I have all my shots for Covid but I still dont feel comfortable.

    1. Hello , I understand. I got Covid 3 weeks before my cruise. I have all my shots too. I didn't know I had Covid. My only symptom was I was walking up my steps and I couldn't catch my breath. I'm 65, so I'm thinking it's old age. It happened again, so I took a home Covid test. It was positive. I went to Urgent Care to be sure and yep I had it.

I had to be quarantined for 7 days. I took 2 more tests to make sure I was okay before the trip. I tried to cancel, but they wanted an $800 cancellation fee. I wore my mask the whole time and tested again when I got back home.
