Still At It

Ever since the meeting on learning how to count calories I keep trying hard at that. Although I’ll be honest in that I tend to pay more attention to the carbs unless I’m buying something. Then I’ll look at the calories listed to check out per serving.

But whatever I’m doing is working so far. So far I’ve managed to lose weight every week. I weigh every Friday morning.

Today I checked the weight and was 173.6. Last Friday was 174.0. I’ll take every bit that I can get. Especially since I’ve not been gaining and having ups/downs fluctuation in the weight but a steady decrease instead. Even the cardiologist’s assistant was impressed and happy with the way I’ve been losing weight. 🙂

    Good for you! It does sound like its working for you. Do you have an ideal weight that you want to get to? Or are you just seeing what good diet and exercise will do? I think its great that you are loosing the weight that you want to! Keep it up and keep us posted on what happens! Team

    Basically to see what I can get down to. For instance today’s weight dropped down to 172.8. Dropped .6 from last week( I only weigh weekly at home). When I was first dx I dropped down to 160 something at home. Wife complained I lost too much. 😉

    But If I can get to 170 or maybe 169 I’ll be happy. Will give room in case body wants to play back and forth games again like before. Will have to see what happens.

    I still do my weekly buffet trip but I pay more attention to the portions and what I’m getting etc. So even with that factor of a buffet added in I’ve still been losing. And I do grilling weekly(usually). Various meats but still watch what I do. Will measure out the stuff that I’m eating with it.
