Off Insulin in 3 Months

If anyone needs some hope or inspiration to get off insulin and Metformin here is my story. I was diagnosed type 2 on July 22, this year. Body was completely out of whack with even my eyesight reversing. No energy, no strength, dizzy, nausea, depressed. Sugar levels were at 22. I was put on insulin and Metformin. It took a week and eventually 15 units a day (once at night) to level out my blood sugars. I went to a Naturopath Dr and made it my goal to be off insulin. I was hoping by Xmas. As well he gave me glutathione (read up about this on internet) injections weekly for my weak liver and kidneys. They had been low for ten years I can remember. Started exercising more and followed a Mediterranean diet. I did a lot of online research as well to find out how to help myself naturally. I am pleased to say I have been off insulin AND Metformin for a week now. LESS than 3 months from diagnosis. I cannot even tell you how happy and healthy I feel. Life is good and don't ever let anyone feel badly for you for being diagnosed. Also all of my recent blood work looked like a waterfall. From way up to almost straight down. Including my liver and kidneys. NORMAL LEVELS !!!! This morning's readings were 6.5 before breakfast. 5.7 after breakfast (1 hour) then 5.4 after lunch. So there ya go. Hope this gives hope to someone, even one person.
