Diagnosed After Surgery
I was diagnosed after surgery. The doctor told me that I was Type 2 Diabetic after having a partial hysterectomy. I suspected maybe the summer before when I was getting shots to get rid of fibroids. I watched my mother go through a lot of problems growing up since she was a diabetic and I knew the basics of what I had to do to keep myself healthy. It is now close to 6 years since my diagnosis and I do my best to do what is necessary to do what must be done.
