Type 2 diabetes control without medication

Hi, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes a few years ago.

I couldn't stand the idea of injecting myself with insulin and taking Glucophage the rest of my life so I decided to do something about it. I lost 25kg with a protein diet and 19kg more with Weight Watchers. Total loss = 44kg.Within the second month of dieting I was off Insulin and Glucophage and 3 years on my sugar is perfect.

I exercise 2 hours per day 5 times a week, it was very hard in the beginning to exercise but now I'm addicted to it. I still have another 15kg to lose but my fasting sugar and health has greatly improved. I'm by no means a perfect dieter and still love my bread, pasta, sweets etc. but I try to eat it in moderation.

The point of my story is that people should try to lose weight and exercise, it will surely reduce or stop the need for medicine.
