Been a T2D for 15 Years

Hi all:
I became a diabetic at age 44. A1C at first was around 6.2. Progressively reached 7.0 or just below. Switched endocrinologists a year ago. Ozempic, just approved by FDA then, replaced Victoza, which I started with. Once a week injection. Besides losing about 20 lbs, my A1C was most recently 5.7 and then 5.8. My former doc had me on loads of pills prior to the change to someone else. While my final A1C was 5.6 with him, I had body shakes and low sugar throughout the day. My wife saw this wasn’t the way to go, and my new doc has been a Godsend. The new drugs seem to be the wave of the future!
