Ingredients for steamed broccoli
- 2 cups broccoli, chopped
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
Directions for steamed broccoli
- In a vegetable steamer, once water is boiling add broccoli to basket and cook for 4 minutes or until slightly tender and bright green.
- For the stovetop method, bring water to a boil and place broccoli in a steaming basket on top until tender and bright green.
- Transfer to serving dish.
- Top with spices and stir until well-coated.
- Serve immediately!
