Oatmeal with some added protein is a great way to start the day. It will also help to stabilize blood sugars.
- 2/3 cup steel cut oats
- 1 tbs peanut butter
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- a dash of cinnamon
- 1 tsp. chocolate protein powder
Makes 1 serving
- In a glass jar, mix together oats and peanut butter.
- Add almond milk, cinnamon and protein powder to the jar.
- Stir ingredients together and leave in the refrigerator overnight.
