Cinnamon Peanut Butter Overnight Oatmeal

Oatmeal with some added protein is a great way to start the day. It will also help to stabilize blood sugars.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup steel cut oats
  • 1 tbs peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • a dash of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. chocolate protein powder

Makes 1 serving

Directions

  1. In a glass jar, mix together oats and peanut butter.
  2. Add almond milk, cinnamon and protein powder to the jar.
  3. Stir ingredients together and leave in the refrigerator overnight.
