Baked Carrots
Baking carrots gives them a crispy, yet soft taste similar to fries.
Makes 4 servings
Serving size: 1 cup
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Ingredients for baked carrots
- 6 large multicolor carrots
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Directions for baked carrots
- Preheat oven to 425F.
- Peel carrots, then slice them into 1/4 inch thick slices.
- Coat a 13x9 glass pan with olive oil, then add carrots, salt and pepper and toss until evenly mixed.
- Add parmesan cheese then place in oven and cook for 15 minutes.
