Tongue sores

For the past six months or so I’ve had tongue sores. I’m on several medication‘s and I’m trying to isolate which one might be causing them. I started insulin degludec about the same time that these sores started as near as I can tell. They seem to have gotten a tiny bit better, but never completely went away. This was over a week. Of not being on insulin. I guess my question is how long does insulin stay in your system once you stop?
Thanks

  1. That looks painful, . Have you talked to your doctor about it? It might be a reaction to a medication, but it also might be indicative of an entirely different health condition. Tongue cancer is rare, but it should be ruled out, just in case. I wish I had answers for you. I hope others in the community have input. Please keep us posted if you are comfortable doing so. I will be thinking of you. - Lori (Team Member)
