Surgery

Hi, just found group.
I'm having sergery tomorrow at 12 noon, not supposed to eat for 8 hours, I have type 2 and go low after 4 hours or so. Wanted to see if any of u know what to eat that might last longer in morning....I'm really worried.

  1. Hi there , welcome to the community and thanks for your question. Sorry, it wasn't responded earlier, but how did your surgery go and the fasting before surgery go? Please keep us updated if you feel comfortable doing so.

Hopefully, people will still chime in to share what kinds of food they eat before a fast if others have the same question or run into the same situation. It might be a good idea to ask a doctor or registered dietitian, too, if one has access to them.

    Thinking of you,
