Metformin and weight loss
Has anyone lost weight on metformin?

. Metformin is considered a "weight neutral" medication, but we've had many members report that they have lost weight while on it. I hope others chime in here and share their experiences. . How awesome. That is a very health rate of weight loss. My guess (only a guess) is that the weight loss is due to your own dietary changes. Controlling your blood sugar with metformin might be helping you control your appetite as well, however. - Lori (Team Member)
I feel full sometimes but at other times I crave food or mainly carbs. It's a mental battle for sure.
