Insulin
Hi there,
I have been to see the diabetes nurse
Tonight and she says I have to use Abasalgar insulin at night as I am waiting for a colostomy operation soon as she says they won't do the op if my insulin is up but I've been told to loose weight by the consultant.
So that's contradictory to what I've been told to do what do I do.

I would suggest that you contact your surgeon and your family doctor to get a better understanding of your medication regime regarding your insulin.
