CGM
My insurance doesn’t cover a cgm because my pancreas levels are not low enough because I have type 2. However I’m a massage therapist and I can’t test on the normal sites on my hands or forearms. I need to be using insulin but I don’t want to use it without testing. I have tired to appeal this with my insurance because I don’t want a staff infection from not having a cgm. They denied it. Any tips on help paying for or getting an affordable cgm?

- how frustrating that must be! Thinking of you. Have you checked in with your doctor's office/pharmacist to see if there's anything else they recommend or some way they may be able to work with your insurance / submit anything to them that may help you be able to get it covered from their end? talk to your doctor about it then coordinate with your insurance company. There is always a way for everything.
My father using cgm and there is some reaction we have noticed, his arm getting blue. we have scared and removed this device. I have shared my experience moreover you can talk to your doctor about it. hopefully they have some solution for your problem best of luck
