Betabeat

Anyone tried this?

  1. Hi . I have no experience with Betabeat, but I hope you will check with your doctor before trying it. Some supplements and natural treatments can bring your blood sugar down too low, bringing on a whole new set of problems, especially if you are already on medication for your diabetes. I hope you get input from others in the community who have information about it. Best wishes. - Lori (Team Member)

    1. Lori, thanks.
I'm currently taking metformin and gliclazide and have done for 8 years. Have managed my sugar quite well with diet and excercise but lately have experienced numbness and tingling in my fingers on my right hand. I'm due a review with the dietician, so will bring it up then before trying it.

      1. Hi . I am glad you are seeing your doctor soon given that you are experiencing signs of neuropathy. Here is an article on the types of neuropathy diabetics can experience: https://type2diabetes.com/living/types-neuropathy. I thought it might be helpful to read it before your appointment. Have you considered also seeing an orthopedic to rule out an injury that is compressing a nerve? Keep me posted if you don't mind. I will be thinking of you. - Lori (Team Member)

    2. Thanks Lori, I found another product online of these so called miracle T2 reversing supplements. Amiclear, it has similar ingredients as the Betabeat.

      1. That's interesting, . There are definitely supplements that can help stabilize blood sugar, though they won't actually reverse Type 2 diabetes anymore so than medication will. The key is to make sure you are not reducing your blood sugar too much, which is why it is smart of you to talk your doctor first. I hope you are feeling well enough to enjoy the holiday tomorrow. - Lori (Team Member)
