What you don't know CAN hurt you
I never knew I had diabetes until I got an infection in my big toe. It swiftly went from a visit to the ER to an amputation of my big toe and second toe. Since my diabetes diagnosis, I have developed high blood pressure, peripheral artery disease, and wet macular degeneration. Seems like the past two years everything broke 😠But I continue on, picking up the pieces and trying to reverse these things. Diabetes is an insidious monster.
