From Gestational Diabetes to Prediabetes

I first discovered I had diabetes when I was pregnant. I learned how to eat right and monitor my blood sugar with a glucometer. Now, 4 years post pregnancy, I discovered high fasting blood sugars and am monitoring my blood glucose levels daily, even though I am still considered pre-diabetic. I have lost 9.5 kilos and am continuing to focus on my nutrition, with the help of Dr. Mariela Glandt who has guided me on this journey.
