Turkey, Hummus, and Romaine Snack Wraps
I'm somebody who likes to eat snacks, but I've been more mindful about the amount of carbohydrates I consume. When the weather cools down, it's harder for me to maintain my exercise routines. So, these low-carb turkey, hummus, and romaine snack wraps has become a new snack that I enjoy.
This is a simple and delicious lower-carb snack that includes no-salt roasted turkey breast, bell peppers, cucumbers, hummus, and fresh romaine lettuce. You can substitute the ingredients for any fresh veggies that you enjoy and a different type of lettuce according to preference.

Ingredients for turkey, hummus, and romaine snack wraps
- 4 fresh Romaine lettuce leaves
- 6-8 slices of thin-sliced no-salt-added roasted turkey
- Half a large cucumber, sliced
- 1 medium red bell pepper, sliced into strips
- 2 tbsp hummus
Directions for turkey, hummus, and romaine snack wraps
- Wash the Romaine lettuce well.
- Pat the lettuce dry with a clean tea towel or paper towels.
- Spread the hummus evenly on each lettuce leaf. Alternatively, you can layer the hummus throughout the wrap's ingredients.
- Add 2 slices of roasted turkey to each lettuce leaf.
- Then, add equal servings of cucumber slices and bell pepper strips to each leaf.
- Roll the leaves up and use a toothpick to hold together.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
