Jalapeño poppers

These jalapeño poppers have just enough heat to pack a punch without being too overbearing. Since the cream cheese is basic, it also helps decrease the heat of these appetizers.

Ingredients for jalapeño poppers

  • 3 jalapeños
  • 8 tsp cream cheese
  • 3 bacon slices

Directions for jalapeño poppers

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Cut jalapeños in half and remove insides.
  3. Add 1 tsp of cream cheese to each half. Larger ones may need 2 tbsp cream cheese.
  4. On a cutting board, cut bacon slice in half, then wrap each filled jalapeño slice with bacon slice.
  5. Put in oven for 18 minutes.
  6. Let cool before serving.
