Crab Cakes

These crab cakes are simple enough to make and only have 2 grams of carbs!

Makes 3 servings
Serving Size: 1 crab cake
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients for crab cakes

  • 1 lb crab meat
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp old bay seasoning
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp tamari sauce
  • 3 tbsp almond flour
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro

Directions for crab cakes

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together egg, mayo, lemon juice, parsley, tamari sauce, and dijon mustard.
  2. Add crab meat and almond flour to the bowl and gently mix together.
  3. Cover with cellophane wrap and place in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  4. Form the mixture into crab cakes and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Place in an oven that has been preheated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 30 minutes.
