Carrot Fries

An oh so simple, yet tasty way to enjoy baked carrots as a side dish. Baking the carrots brings out the natural sweetness and the cumin adds the flavor. Enjoy!

Serves 3

Ingredients

  • 400g/14oz carrots
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • 1 tbs fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin

Directions

  1. Pre-heat a moderate oven
  2. Peel and slice the carrots
  3. Place the carrots in a large bowl with the olive oil, thyme and cumin and mix well
  4. Spread the carrots on a baking tray and place the tray into the oven for about 30 mins until lightly browned and tender
