Type 2 Diabetes Awareness Month 2023

November is Diabetes Awareness Month! Type 2 diabetes (T2D) can be a daily challenge – one that is not always easy to keep controlled. Many aspects of managing T2D can be confusing and difficult to stick with. Everyone has a distinct way to manage their diabetes, from forming new lifestyle habits like getting proper nutrition, restful sleep, and physical activity to taking medications or wearing a continuous glucose monitor.

How to get involved

Throughout the month, we will be exploring common challenges and fears associated with this diagnosis, as well as highlighting the voices of our community about how they live with T2D.

So, how can you get involved, raise awareness outside the T2D community, and support each other this November?
