Type 2 Diabetic with DME

Hi everyone - Newly diagnosed type 2 diabetic - 43 year old woman. End of June went to the Eye Dr thinking I was needing new lenses but far from it. Diabetic Retinopathy (DME) and I'm very scared. I had hight blood pressure too and that is now under control as is my blood sugars but this eye vision has been out of bounds scary. No matter what I do now apparently the disease has progressed so much. My right eye is super blurry and I'm trying to "save" the left eye at this point with Injections but now I need a laser treatment. My emotions are all over the place.

  1. I am very sorry to hear that. I hope the treatment goes well for you.

    1. Thank You
