I'm a skinny Type II diabetic, 5'4" and 114 lbs. I've read that we're twice as likely to die if complications of diabetes. I take Januvia and I'm under excellent control but I'm already going into kidney failure. Any advice from others?

Is there any particular advice you're looking for? Unfortunately, it is quite common for people with diabetes's kidneys to also be affected. Although being well controlled reduces the risk of complications, it's still possible to get diabetes complications.
