Neuropathy

Question for everyone.
I was diagnosed type 2 literally about a year ago this July.
But I've had muscle spasms and pain for years. I have been given gabapentin for it. But just started.
My questions are this. Has anyone else ever had diffuse pain and spasms( like in the back and shoulders)and has any one ever had issues in their feet being able to tell feeling "cold" from "wet."
I get this in bed at night. And it drives me nuts.
Thanks all, in advance.

  1. – thanks for your question! I hope others will also chime in with their experiences. My dad has neuropathy in his feet. He often shares how it feels like his feet are wet and sitting in water, so you're not alone in your experiences with neuropathy. Best, Minel (Team Member)

    1. Thanks for the reply. At least I know I'm not nuts. I swear cold always feels wet!

      1. You are definitely not alone! We appreciate you sharing your experience, and you are always welcome to ask questions and share on this site. Best wishes. -Ashlen, Type2diabetes.com community moderator
