Injured from bowling

Hi everyone, my family and I went too Castle Fun Park it an indoor place with all sorts of games to play, we went for my grandsons birthday he turned 5, they have a small bowling alley and I hurt my siatica bowling I’ve injured it before but this time it’s really sore so off to the chiropractor tomorrow it’s a appointment I have already had booked for my other back problems. I tell ya I’ve been having so many injuries in the past few years.
Back, siatica, shoulders, my body is sore all the time, hurt both shoulders a few years ago at separate times. I am so tired of this. My lower back is the worst, it’s a degenerative disc, I see my chiropractor for this but it’s not really helping can anyone suggest something else, I’ve done physio to but not good results with this either.

  1. I wish you were not in so much pain, . For me, the best solution to back pain was a physiatrist, a doctor of pain management. I had seen two orthopedists over three years time and two chiropractors. The orthos were no help at all. The one chiropractor had me convinced degenerative back disease was the cause and I was seeing him twice a week, sometimes more often. After three years of chiropractors, I became frustrated with the whole routine and changed gears. The physiatrist was the first doctor to do the right tests and make an accurate diagnosis. Though I did have degenerative back disease, he said it would not impact me until my 80s. The problem was myofascial pain syndrome from an injury that never healed. He prescribed seven days a week of 50-minute cardio sessions and strong antiinflammatories, all to get blood flowing to the injured ligament. I was cured for good in three weeks. That was at least a decade ago. As with any other specialty, there are good physiatrists and there are physiatrist who are not worth a dime. If you decide to go that route, try to get recommendations from others. Thinking of you. - Lori (Team Member)
