Hi there

I want to loose weight I cannot cope with using insulin as it makes me put weight on when I went to see about my diabetes the sister at the docs was not very nice saying I would die I have to loose weight.
I didn't choose to be in this situation at all.
I am going to do my best to loose weight I just don't understand why they R been so negative about it.
I have a docs appointment on the 26th of August will let you know.

  1. Hi - I appreciate the time you've taken to share your experience. Has your doctor offered to connect you with a certified diabetes educator (CDE)? I wonder if they would be able to give you feedback on things you can do to avoid using insulin. If you haven't met with a person like this before, maybe it's something you could mention at your next appointment? 1. Educate yourself on the root cause of type 2 diabetes. It can be reversed with proper diet, regular sleep schedules and stress management.

      1. It took about 3-4 weeks for me to reverse diabetes.

There is a specific physiology that leads to type 2 diabetes. It is not a mystery any longer with today's science and growing knowledge of what triggers it and how to manage it without medications or symptoms.

That being said, everything you said is true. It's important that people who contract T2D understand that they must modify their lifestyle to stay diabetic free or it will come back.

      2. Lifestyle change is definitely a major component of being in remission. B. Keith Crear III (Team Member)
