Hello ,
I have been recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes .
I am trying . I need help. I have been put on .25 of ozempic weekly and I am trying to control my diet . When I test my blood it is 250 to 450 . I don’t know what to do . I am suffering from neuropathy .
Thank you for sharing and reaching out. I'd encourage you to speak with your doctor about any new, changing or concerning symptoms, including if you feel you aren't seeing controlled blood sugar. You may need an adjustment to your medication. What changes have you made to your diet? In addition to speaking with your doctor and/or Dietitian these articles may be helpful to you: https://type2diabetes.com/diet-nutrition/guidelines and https://type2diabetes.com/living/tips-for-trouble-shooting-high-blood-glucose. Hope that helps, please feel free to reach out with specific questions, we're here to support you. Kelly, Type2diabetes.com Community Moderator

when were you diagnosed? Are you on other medications? If you are not responding to current medications, ask about referral to endocrinologist. You may need to have some more specialized lab work done to test for antibodies and other labs. Have you been referred to a diabetes educator and nutritionist for some additional instruction and information? If you need any further information or direction, please contact us. We are here to help you. Trinette, community moderator

Hi . I wanted to check in and see how you are doing. Have your numbers come down yet and are they regularly within the target range? Thinking of you. - Lori (Team Member)
