Kate Cornell
Kate was previously an advocate for Type2Diabetes.com.
Kate Cornell was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in June of 2005. Diabetes education wasn’t offered to her so she set out to find her own answers via the Internet. Navigating through the vast amount of available, and sometimes incorrect, information was daunting but she eventually discovered what works for her. Kate blogs about her life with type 2 diabetes at Sweet Success: My life with Type 2 Diabetes which was named as one of the top diabetes blogs for 2015 by Healthline.com. She is an advocate for all people with diabetes. Misplaced stigma surrounding diabetes and better education for people with type 2 are the subjects she is most passionate about. “Taking responsibility for our health and finding what works for us is key to living a better life, despite diabetes.”
