body temp

Does anyone have trouble with body temp especially at nite i am good most of the day but when getting into bed i am cold as a mackrel and my feet are worst it has gotten so bad at times i put socks on

  1. Hello , I am totally opposite. I feel like my body is on fire all the time. I actually have a doctors appointment tomorrow and this is something I will bring up. On my last checkup, they told me it was environmental and lifestyle factors. What does that mean anyway? I understand being on different medications, my age, and hormones can all affect my body temperature. Thanks for sharing. Diane (Team Member)

  2. , thanks for your question! We shared your question on our Facebook page and a couple of people shared their experiences. Check it out here: https://www.facebook.com/Type2Diabetesdotcom/posts/pfbid0TdVzX4xQ5cDL859wL426cHgJPYZr8zVtGERVYwrryQeV6PjStmW8VksyjSVtRMeMl. My other thought too is that a lot of people with diabetes may also have neuropathy in their feet. People might experience different types of sensations with neuropathy, but one of our contributors, Keith, writes about a cold, tingly feeling here: https://type2diabetes.com/living/neuropathy-tips. If you haven't already, talking with your doctor could be helpful. I hope you're able to figure it out. Please keep us updated if you feel comfortable doing so. Best, Minel (Team Member)

    1. My feet are freezing…never had this problem…I put pairs of slippers on different heat registers and rotate to keep feet warm…looked into electric slippers but not too many good reviews. Try the rotating slippers and socks.

      1. my feet get very cold …..I wear two pairs of Sox every day and my toes are still cold.

      2. No matter how my feet feel, cold, hot, tingly or feel like stiff paper I put on my fuzzy socks and it is instant relief....🙌
