Sautéed Green Beans and Mushrooms

Ingredients for sautéed green beans and mushrooms

  • ½ lb fresh green beans
  • 8 oz fresh Portobello mushrooms, sliced
  • 2-3 tsp fresh garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Directions for sautéed green beans and mushrooms

  1. Heat a large skillet with 1 tablespoon of olive oil on medium-high heat.
  2. Add mushrooms and 2 teaspoons of garlic. Sautée until mushrooms are slightly soft, about 8-10 minutes. Drain if needed. Transfer to a bowl.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet. Add green beans and 1 teaspoon of garlic.
  4. Toss every 5 minutes until green beans are soft or slightly browned. Return mushrooms to the skillet. Toss with salt and pepper.
  5. Enjoy!
