Apprehensive New Type 2 Diabetic

Hi everyone, my name is Sharon, I’m 41 years old and was just diagnosed as a Type 2, two weeks ago. I’m currently on Trulicity, which hasn’t been bad. I do get some flu like symptoms about 12 hours post injection, but I’m ok until the next week. I also have high cholesterol but can’t take anything for it because they all make me extremely sick. Three years ago I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, which is a bit tough at times. I tend to get fatigued easily. Can I catch a break? 😂. I’m hoping to make some new friends, and have some extra support.

My very first labs two weeks ago were a1c 6.9 and blood sugar 156.
