Turkey and Cauliflower Taco Meat

If taco night is a regular occurrence in your house, here’s a new recipe to try! With lean ground turkey and some added fiber, antioxidants, and crunch from cauliflower, no one will complain. Add some scrumptious spices for flavor and you have a delicious filling for tacos, fajitas, or even to top a salad!

Cooking time: 20 minutes

Ingredients for turkey and cauliflower taco meat

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • ½ cup chopped cauliflower
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp onion powder

Directions for turkey and cauliflower taco meat

  1. In a large pan, sauté cauliflower, garlic and onion until fragrant, approximately 5 minutes.
  2. Add ground chicken and cook until no longer pink, approximately 10 minutes.
  3. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add spices and mix well over low heat, approximately 2-3 more minutes.
  5. Serve immediately.
