Deep Dish Margareta Pizza

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • 5-6 basil leaves
  • 6-8 pear mozzarella balls
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce

Makes 4 servings

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. In a bowl, combine almond flour, egg and olive oil.
  3. Put dough into a pie pan and bake for 15 minutes.
  4. Add pizza sauce, mozzarella balls and basil on top of the pizza crust, then bake in the oven for an additional 30 minutes.
  5. Slice pizza into four slices and serve.
