Creamy Basil Pesto
For a yummy twist on pesto, use walnuts! Perfect to stir through steamed veggies, dollop over pan fried chicken or baked salmon or stir through zucchini noodles.
Makes 3/4 cup (about 10 tbsp)
Serving size 2 tbsp
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 tsp salt
Directions
- Blitz all ingredients in a food processor until smooth.
- Serve as needed. Enjoy!
