Cheesy Bread

This take on cheese on toast, a popular dish in the United Kingdom, has an addition of egg, which adds more protein.


  • 1 slice bread, toasted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbs. parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. olive oil

Makes 1 serving


  1. Toast bread.
  2. While the bread is in the toaster, cook egg in olive oil sunny side up.
  3. Add parmesan cheese while egg is cooking and wait until it melts slightly.
  4. Add egg with melted cheese on top of toasted bread.
