Black bean and vegetable soup
As winter has arrived it is time to make some soup.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup canned or precooked black beans
- 1/4 cup celery, chopped
- 1/4 cup carrots, chopped
- 1/4 cup onion, diced
- 1 cup chicken broth
Makes 1 serving
Directions
- Dice all of the vegetables and mix them together into a bowl.
- Rinse beans and add to the vegetables.
- Bring chicken broth to a boil and add the veggies and black beans.
- Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
