    Meal planning is planning out meals for a week or certain amount of time in advance; many find meal planning to be helpful in managing their type 2 diabetes, as they can pick out diabetes-friendly meals and recipes beforehand and know what they will need to shop for or what they will be eating throughout the week so that there will be no surprises or urge to order or pick up food that may not be as diabetes-friendly!
