I have 4 grandparents with diabetes. I have 2 parents with diabetes. I didn't stand a chance. My BS was 250-450 for 18 months. I begged for insulin. My Ex-endo said she didn't want me to get "addicted." I didn't want to die so I changed endo's.
Feeling better
My A1C went from 11 to 6 with a year. I was eating well, I just needed insulin. Now I can see straight and I feel healthy. Your brain is the biggest tool in your diabetes toolbox. Use it to help yourself when getting bad advice or making any decision that impacts your life.
